Joanne and Cinnamon Ice Blendeds...
I had KFC for dinner and a 2nd ice blendeds in two days! Guess it's back to inventing the new B&J flavour 'chubby tummy'. Met Joanne at Coffee Bean and that's why I ended up having the ice blended. Had a really good chat with her and although I still don't know her that well, its good that we can still chat on a certain level.
Eggs, Mahjong and Tequilas...
The egg affair was held on Saturday at my house. I think went very well! The whole treasure hunt idea was fine and although it was a hot day I think most people went home happy. Some stayed for Mahjong and drinks and I had to send Peggy back twice (she didn't bring her keys) to her home to get tequila. Think the girls had a really good time getting high, which was when Raymond decided to make an unsolicited appearence to help send people back..
Raymond being very nice and kind...
I was very dismissive about Raymond always coming back to help fetch people, and I think Pearl is right in saying that I am being a bit unfair to Raymond. I somehow am not able to accept his quirk of being extremely nice to everybody. I think it is very hard to doubt that he is genuinely being nice deep down, but I can't stand it because by being so overly nice, I don't feel I can be a proper friend. Yet, I think I shall endeavour to accept him for who he his and not be critical of him.
Mass today...
Choked on the first few words cantoring for today's mass psalm! Rather embarrasing.
Also, have been feeling rather helpless in recent weeks with regards to the cell groups because I couldn't latch onto any source of inspiration or strength from anyone or anywhere. Today's homily was encouraging as it was about Jesus being the vine and we the branches, are to draw strength from the vine and will be made to bear fruit. I guess all the anxiety about how the cell groups will turn out from now on had best be offered up in the humble surrender.
