I was crossing the road to Borders today and I saw this strange man tapping a tree trunk with an aluminium broomstick he was carrying..
(now here's the imaginary part)
I asked him what he was doing and you know what he said?
"I'm trying to hear the tree bark"

Here's one I heard yesterday from Gabriel's father:
"Do you know how to make a venetian blind?"
"You poke him in the eye".
Anyway, you heard about the party? I enjoyed myself.. will post more soon but my laptop and modem are faulty at the moment so the post will be slow in coming.
