Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree..

I bought a Christmas tree. It's been eight years since my family set up a Christmas tree, since my dad started working in Jarkata. We used to put lights on the christmas tree in the garden, but that was many years ago and its too large now anyway.

I just decided to buy one with my own money and not ask my mum. I suspected that she would have said it was a waste of money, but she didn't complain and I think she likes it. My brother bought the ornaments and my mum added more today. I also borrowed (couldn't afford) a Christmas crib scene from Loretta and it's lovely. I spent another hunded bucks on a spa for my mum. Its at this newly opened spa in Serangoon Gardens itself. It's a lovely place and I hope she likes it.

All in all, I blew quite a bit of the money I'd been saving for the telescope on Christmas, but what the heck. Consequently, I don't have much for other gifts or expensive meals nowadays.. but I think it's worth it. About time my family did something together.
