Just finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince. I'm very sad. And afraid... To be standing there at the threshold, and having no one but yourself to depend on, knowing that you have to do what you have to. Except that Ron and Hermione will be there, and you too!
(very cryptic I know, but no matter)
A good friend was struck by lightning recently. Was hiking when it happened. Had to carry his brother, half-conscious, for half-an-hour to safety, and had to be heli-evaced to a hospital. Must have been the scariest thing ever. To be that close to death...
...he even called to God thrice.
And lastly, an update. The plan for the near future, baring any changes, is this: I shall finish up my work at NJC, take a bit of time off around December with something part time, and then hopefully do some GP relief teaching in CJC come the new year. In Feb, I will decide on and apply with MOE, and hopefully will be in NIE come June. Training will be nine months; teaching at least three years. By then...
...we would have read the conclusion to the tale of Harry Potter.
