2005

2005 heralds a time of new hope and new promise. This year will definitely be a year of great adventure, and hardship – but through it, growth. I will embark on my first proper job, and will meet many tough challenges through it; I am about to begin a part time coaching job at the same time. Loretta will be taking a degree is social work and out time together will be stretched. Our relationship may deepen and strengthen this year, or may face a dead end. Certainly, 2005 will be a special year, and I have every intention that it be special in a good way.

A happy new year to all!

(the rest are my personal recordings and are not meant for public viewing. Of course, no one can stop you from looking)

Resolutions for the New Year:
1. That I will continue to grow in faith, and to one day perhaps know this personal God.

2. To discover and develop a career that will be meaningful and rewarding, and to grow to become a successful individual through that.
3. To grow deeper in love and friendship with the one true love that I know, my best friend and darling Loretta.
4. To seek and understand the world again with new eyes.
To improve in my snooker. A 40+ break is not impossible and would be a dream come true.

Looking back on 2004, I see:
1. My personal failures at completing my thesis, and Edmond and Loretta helping me through it
2. The loss and desolation of my faith.
3. The continued friendship of Ivan, Nigel, Jude, Bernard, Jackie, Nicholas, Jacqueline, Chris, Edmond. Thank you all.
4. The struggle of finding a career and a meaning in life.
5. The leaving of NUS and CSS behind.
6. The strain on our long-term relationship together, Loretta and I.
7. The talk with my Dad on Tioman, and the news from Indonesia.
8. My brother growing even taller and a growth in our sibling relationship.
9. Anne-anne’s visit to the vet.
10. Going to Verbum Dei for the first time.

Thank you for 2004 and I pray that 2005 will be a blessed one.
