Facing up to myself

Every person has a right to keep parts of himself private. But, are there parts of you which you are so ashamed of that you never let out? Perhaps that is why only your closest friends know those parts of you. Yet, are there still even more parts that you do not show, dare not let out, dare not even admit to yourself, out of pure shame? But you are you. Do not be ashamed of yourself. If there is any part of you that you do not like, look it in the eye. Let it be known to yourself. Let it even be known to others that you trust. Be honest to yourself.
